Took a fall from a windy height
I only know how to hold on tight
And pray for love enough to last all night
Down on Copperline
Lyrics from “Copperline” by James Taylor, 1991.

Designed by SHoP Architects and completed in 2017, the buildings are sheathed in 18 types of material sourced from 7 different countries. As reported in the “Architects’ Guide to Glass and Metal” magazine, the “glass came from China; extrusions from Asia and the U.S.; window hardware, copper and stainless steel from Germany; and speciality glass from Switzerland and Belgium.”
The 48 and 41-story structures are connected by a 3-story skybridge.
